ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR

Zamboanga del Sur, officially known as the Province of Zamboanga del Sur (Cebuano: Habagatang Zamboanga; Subanen: S'helatan Sembwangan/Sembwangan dapit Shelatan; Maguindanaon: Salatan Sambuangan, Jawi: سلاتن سامبواɠΆ; Filipino: Katimugang Zamboanga), is a province in Mindanao, Philippines. The city of Pagadian serves as its capital.

The highly urbanized City of Zamboanga, which is geographically distinct, a chartered city, and the province's major metropolis, is statistically grouped with Zamboanga del Sur.

The province shares boundaries with Lanao del Norte to the east, Misamis Occidental to the northeast, Zamboanga del Norte to the north, and Zamboanga Sibugay to the west. The Moro Gulf lies to the south.
