ZAMBALES

The Philippines' Central Luzon region is home to Zambales, often known as the Province of Zambales (Sambal: Probinsya nin Zambales; Ilocano: Probinsia ti Zambales; Pangasinan: Luyag/Probinsia na Zambales; Filipino: Lalawigan ng Zambales). Situated in the center of the province, Iba serves as its capital. Geographically, Olongapo is the province's largest city, yet it maintains its political autonomy.

Zambales is bounded to the north and northeast by Pangasinan, to the east by Tarlac, to the southeast by Pampanga, to the south by Bataan, and to the west by the South China Sea. Including the independent city of Olongapo, Zambales' total land size of 3,830.83 square kilometers (1,479.09 sq mi) makes it the second largest of Central Luzon's seven provinces, behind Nueva Ecija.
