GUIMARAS

The Philippine island province of Guimaras is situated in the Western Visayas. The municipality of Buenavista is the main local government entity, and Jordan serves as the capital. The province is located between the islands of Panay and Negros in the Panay Gulf. Negros Occidental is to the southeast, and Iloilo City and Province are to the northwest. One of the Philippines' twelve metropolitan areas, Metro Iloilo–Guimaras, includes the entire island.

In addition to Inampulugan, Guiwanon (or Guiuanon), Panobolon, Natunga, Nadulao, and other neighboring islets, the province is mainly made up of Guimaras Island.
