EASTERN SAMAR

Eastern Samar is a province in the Philippines situated within the Eastern Visayas region. The city of Borongan, which has the highest population, serves as its capital. Eastern Samar encompasses the eastern section of the island of Samar. To the north, it shares a border with Northern Samar, and to the west, it is adjacent to Samar province. The Philippine Sea, which is part of the expansive Pacific Ocean, lies to the east, while Leyte Gulf is located to the south.
