AGUSAN DEL SUR

In the Caraga region of Mindanao, the Philippines, sits the province of Agusan del Sur, also known as the Province of Agusan del Sur (Cebuano: Habagatang Agusan; Butuanon: Probinsya hong Agusan del Sur; Tagalog: Timog Agusan). The municipality of Prosperidad serves as its capital. It shares borders with Agusan del Norte and Misamis Oriental to the northwest, Surigao del Sur to the east, Davao Oriental to the southeast, Davao de Oro to the mid-south, Davao del Norte to the southwest, and Bukidnon to the mid-west. The province is 3,856 square miles in size, making it the fourth largest in the nation.

The province's most populated city is Bayugan, which is also its only city.
